A Chemical Engineer from IIT Bombay, a Business Studies graduate from the London School of Economics, a Master of Arts from the University of London, a National Talent Search Scholar, an Erasmus Mundus Scholar.. so what am I doing as a voiceover artist?

A passion for music made me quit my corporate job with ICI India Ltd and after a failed attempt at becoming a pop star during the 2000 music industry crash, I found my calling in radio and voiceovers.

I started off in radio in early 2002 as an RJ and audio producer with Radio City, Mumbai. This was followed by stints in Radio 4 UAE, Sunrise Radio London and Kismat Radio London (where I became Programming Head), before a move back to India to head the programming for Fever 104 FM in Delhi in 2007, and subsequently the Station Head for Fever 104 FM Kolkata in 2008.

Philosophical differences with senior management and a general disiilusionment with the direction radio was headed in led to my decision to go independent in October 2009, and concentrate on something I had been doing professionally since 2000 - voice overs, audio production, Emcee work and singing. I tried out RJindg once again and hosted the Breakfast Show for Big 92.7 FM for six months, and then decided it wasn't worth the aggravation :)

So, here I am, doing voiceovers, creating ads and film promos, working (finally) on my music album, Emceeing corporate events from time to time and SERIOUSLY enjoyingthe flexibility of working for myself!!

I am married to Bina Punjani, acknowledged one of the most brilliant hairdressers in India, since Sep 2004. No, we don't have kids.
